January 04 Trying to get on the right trackHello, this is Quiana. I figured I would update our progress so far. For one, the 300 word statement will be up by this weekend so you will be able to get the reason why we are entering this contest and a lil bit about us. But as far as the past two days, we have been controlling what we are eating. We went to the store yesterday and brought some healthy foods. I'm at the point where I want to eat a salad everyday. Well as today for dinner I ate a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, red cabbage and a small amount of salad dressing and I also ate whole wheat spaghetti with turkey meatballs and sausage. Usually I would go back for seconds and pile on the sauce but I didn't. I measured the amount of food I was going to eat and drunk water in the process. I have to say, all I drink now is water. No soda, diet soda, sweeten tea, nothing.... just water.
